FEATURED LOCATION: Prancing Peacock Farm

PRANCING PEACOCK FARM

524 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA 19067

Hidden on 12 acres in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the Prancing Peacock Farm and Gardens, located on an original land-grant from William Penn, is now available for filming. An idyllic combination of open grasslands, fresh water, and maintained woodland paths, Prancing Peacock highlights all four seasons of the Northeast's natural beauty.

The property’s original stone farmhouse was built in 1683 and is nestled at the end of the 1/4 mile country lane driveway. Also included on the property are a modern yoga studio, a historic red barn, a quaint cottage, and a signature red shed. The Prancing Peacock grounds feature a two-acre pond with a small dock and two Adirondack chairs, as well as two benches resting alongside the accompanying cattails. There's also a winding stream and a wrought iron bench for picturesque crossing.

Other scenic features of the property include a rustic, wisteria and grape vine covered pergola, a gated, sixteen-bed summer garden, teal beehives, eclectically colored benches and Adirondack chairs, unique bridges and flower beds. The property comes with peacocks, chickens, guinea hens, and goats. In addition to domestic animals, Prancing Peacock is home to deer, groundhogs, Canadian geese, blue herons, mallard ducks, and various species of turtles.

Even within the enclosure of its surrounding trees, the property receives excellent morning, noon, magic hour, and evening natural light, all available for outdoor shooting. For interior shoots, the primary structure on the property is a modernly renovated yoga and meditation studio, originally built in the 1940s. The studio features two practice rooms with cherry hardwood floors, a deep palate of colors, a stone fireplace, and a wrought iron spiral staircase. Numerous windows provide natural light throughout the day, and overhead and floor lighting with controlled dimmers are available. Two half-baths and a tiled boutique provide additional space. Climate control, multiple electrical outlets, filtered water dispenser and cups, and complimentary tea are also readily available.
