Earlier this week, the New Mexico Film Office announced that a new project temporarily titled "Fox Louisiana Production" will be filming this month through August in Albuquerque, Abiquiu and Chama, New Mexico. Based on the director and producers named in the production, the film office was most likely talking about Hugh Jackman's next Wolverine installment.

In addition to 600 extras, the production plans to employ approximately 130 New Mexico crew members and two New Mexico cast members.

Famous for its deep crew base and iconic filming locations, it's no surprise that Wolverine 3 will be shooting in New Mexico this summer. “New Mexico continues to be a top player in the film and television industry,” said Nick Maniatis, Film Office director. “This latest production announcement is a testament to the hard-working and talented people in our state who have become a vibrant, sustainable and diverse contributor to our economy.”
