MEADOW RIDGE FARM

2745 Rourte 385, Coxsackie, NY 12051

Meadow Ridge Farm is a beautiful property along the Hudson River in upstate New York that features a stunning Modernist house designed by architect Basil Walter. The original house on the estate (which was destroyed in a fire in the 1990s) was built at the highest point on the 140-acre property, where a meadow meets a ridge, hence came the name Meadow Ridge Farm. In 2007, the new owner of Meadow Ridge Farm asked architect Walter to design a new house on the estate, something clean and simple. The result is the stunning modern house now standing proudly by the river's edge atop the shale cliffs, offering even more privacy and spectacular views of the Hudson. Conceived as a visual metaphor for the surrounding black-walnut trees, this new modernist house features dark, weathered-looking concrete panels resembling bark. On the inside lines warmly finished wood, some reclaimed from the boardwalk of Coney Island.

The entire property of Meadow Ridge Farm, including its stunning modernist house, is now available to filmmakers as a film location. It will make an unforgettable backdrop to any film set. Book it today for your next production.
