The New Mexico Film Office announced yesterday that the new feature film Bare will begin shooting in Albuquerque and Moriarty, New Mexico at the end of this month through mid-August.

To be directed by Natalia Leite, the Bare production will employ at least thirty five (35) New Mexico crew members and fifteen (15) local actors.

Starring Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later, Need for Speed), Riley Keough (The Runaways, Magic Mike), Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider Man, Piranha) and Rachel Korine (Spring Breakers, Mister Lonely), Bare tells a coming-of-age story of a young girl living in Nevada who befriends a female drifter and enters a darker world.

New Mexico has a competitive film incentives package which includes a 25% or 30% Refundable Film Production Tax Credit and the Film Crew Advancement Program. In addition, post-production services rendered in New Mexico also qualify for the 25% Refundable Tax Credit even if the project is filmed elsewhere.
