Peppermint Falls Ranch
1 Peppermint Falls Drive, Johnsondale, CA 93238
Nestled in the Sequoia National Forest, Peppermint Falls Ranch is now available for filming. It’s a picturesque 320-acre privately-owned property within the Giant Sequoia National Monument. Located on Peppermint Falls 30 miles north of Kernville, California, the ranch has full access to the 150-foot year-round waterfall, one of the largest falls in the southern half of California.
Most of the ranch lies in a valley that resembles a small version of Yosemite and is entirely accessible by paved road and a private gated 2-mile paved driveway. The property also has a helipad and hanger providing easy access from the Los Angeles area (via a one-hour flight). Included on the property for filming are several cabins, a log home, and a workshop. Peppermint Creek runs through most of the property and cascades down into the Kern river off the southwest corner of the property. A private trail provides access down a wild and remote section of the Kern River with world-class fly fishing.
The climate and topography on the ranch vary dramatically. There are wet overgrown areas with a jungle look, meadows, and sections with a dry desert appearance. From one location, your production can get a myriad of settings, from mountains, forest, waterfalls, granite pools, streams, cliffs, a peak rising 1,000 ft from the valley floor, views of "The Needles" peaks, to Kern River access.
Located 190 miles from Hollywood by road or 125 miles by helicopter, Peppermint Falls Ranch is ready to host your film or television production. Contact the location today to book it for your next project.
